Replacing the mediocre selling xA, the all-new xD compact hatch is based on the new Toyota Yaris platform. It will be offered with a 126Hp 1.8-liter motor (same as the one in the US Toyota Corolla). Like the xB, the xD will be equipped with a five-speed manual or a four-seed automatic the (with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters)
